On the 25th of February the multiplier event of CHERISHED took place at the Colegio San Gabriel. During the event, the CHERISHED project and its deliverables were presented and the project platform was demonstrated. The 25 participating teachers had the chance to practically use the platform and understand how to integrate the information learned in their daily teaching.

Through the knowledge gained during the multiplier event, school educators are supported in safeguarding the inclusive nature of digital learning opportunities in and through cultural heritage. Teachers are trained to work with digital cultural heritage in an interdisciplinary manner and to work with new pedagogic resources. It is expected that the teachers will share the knowledge they have gained with their colleagues and communities. Thereby, the multiplier event is an important step in improving secondary school teachers’ capacity to use digital cultural heritage resources in their teaching and promotes the integration of digital cultural heritage in compulsory secondary education.
